Text Story Telling

Assalammualaikum and a very good morning to honourable judges, teachers and friends. My name is Nadhirah Asyiqin. Today I would like to tell you a story entitled, An old man , a boy and the donkey.
A long time ago….

There was an old man, a boy and a donkey. One day, they were going to town to sell his donkey. An old man decided that the boy should ride. So the boy ride the donkey. They walk , walk and walk.

Walking to town …ooo
Walking to town…ooo
Walking to town … We are happy.

As they went along they passed some people who thought and laughed at them… hahahaha … “That was a shame for the boy to ride and the old man to walk”. The old man and boy decided that maybe the critics were right so they changed positions. They walk , walk and walk again..

Later, they passed some people who thought that “It was a real shame for that man to make such a small boy to walk”. The two decided that maybe they should both walk. They continued their walk .

Soon, They passed some people who thought that “It was stupid to walk when they had a donkey to ride”. The man and the boy decided.. Maybe the best thing would be for them both to ride the donkey.

Lastly, they passed a group who thought that “It was a shame to put such a load on a poor helpless animal. The old man and the boy decided that maybe the critics were right so they decided to carry the donkey…haaaaaaa

As they crossed a bridge, they lost their grip on the animal….. Suddenly, the animal fell into the river and drowned.

Friends, the moral of this story is do not easily trust people, just believe yourself.
